Hyrizeon, one of Hydrogen Sweden’s newest members, provides services for sustainable hydrogen production through innovative solutions. We met with the company’s CEO, Axel Alm, to discuss their visions and projects, as well as why green hydrogen is key to a carbon-neutral future. <\/p>\n\n

Builds organizations that adapt to the energy solutions of the future<\/h2>\n\n

Axel Alm, with a background in natural sciences, began his career with a focus on environmental issues linked to water. His passion for sailing in the Baltic Sea sparked a desire to influence the environment in the Baltic Sea. He has experience from companies in water treatment and in solar energy, including as CEO of Solkompaniet, which works in large-scale solar power. Throughout the roles was to develop and build organizations that drive to meet the new needs, requirements and opportunities that exist in the sustainable solutions of the future. <\/p>\n\n

Together with two other experienced co-founders who share the vision of the importance of sustainable energy storage, Hyrizeon was established in 2024 with the ambition to drive hydrogen projects forward in a meaningful way.<\/p>\n\n

Hydrogen projects with clear goals<\/h2>\n\n
\"Sustainable<\/figure>\n\n

Hyrizeon provides efficient and reliable solutions for generating hydrogen using energy from renewable sources\u2014a critical step in reducing dependence on fossil fuels.<\/p>\n\n

“With the rapid development in solar and wind, hydrogen is a fantastic energy source to stabilize the electricity grid and meet the needs of industry,” says Axel Alm and continues. We founded the company because we see that there will be a large skills gap in areas that are our specialty. <\/p>\n\n

Hyrizeon’s operations focus on two areas:<\/p>\n\n

    \n
  1. EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management)<\/strong>: Project management and engineering services to ensure successful implementation of hydrogen projects.Among the projects are several large projects with electrolyzers. The scale ranges from a few tens of MW to giant projects of several hundred MW of hydrogen production. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Development and financing:<\/strong> Hyrizeon offers with its senior competence support in project development. It involves everything from helping companies in renewable energy to develop hybrid projects to own development projects with a combination of renewable energy, hydrogen and hydrogen derivatives. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n

    Collaboration is essential to success<\/h2>\n\n

    Axel Alm emphasizes that a transition towards a sustainable energy market requires strong collaborations, both with other companies and organisations.<\/p>\n\n

    “We see that collaboration is crucial to drive development forward. We avoid exclusive agreements because we need flexibility to keep up with the rapid development,\u201d he explains. <\/p>\n\n

    V\u00e4tgas Sverige (Hydrogen Sweden) – a platform for business development<\/h2>\n\n

    Hyrizeon recently became members of V\u00e4tgas Sweden because they want to be involved and contribute to shaping the future of hydrogen in the country. Axel Alm sees great opportunities for the industry association to function as a facilitator that pushes to create profitable business models and strengthen competence in the industry. <\/p>\n\n

    “For us, it is important that the industry association promotes a business-like view of hydrogen and helps overcome obstacles to accelerate development,” says Alm.<\/p>\n\n

    He emphasizes the importance of V\u00e4tgas Sweden actively working closely with businesses to accelerate the use of green hydrogen. By understanding and participating in and facilitating business, you become a relevant partner in advocacy work, standardization and education for hydrogen. <\/p>\n\n

    Business is the key to change<\/h2>\n\n

    With strong networks and experience from the technical and financing of renewable projects, Hyrizeon is well positioned to play an important role in Sweden’s energy transition.<\/p>\n\n

    Axel Alm concludes: “Money is the means to drive development forward. In order to realize the potential of hydrogen, we need structured work from companies, industry associations and decision-makers.” <\/p>\n\n
