Be part of the change for a more inclusive energy sector
Women are still underrepresented on Swedish boards, particularly in the energy sector. This represents a lost opportunity for the industry to benefit from the potential of diversity for innovation and sustainable development. Only 35% of senior positions on Swedish company boards are held by women – often in deputy roles. By increasing women’s influence in strategic decision-making, we can build a stronger and more inclusive future.
To meet this challenge, Vätgas Sverige offers a unique board training for women and non-binary who want to strengthen their skills and take their place in the boardroom. The training is part of our gender equality project funded by the Swedish Gender Equality Agency and aims to equip women with the knowledge and tools to drive change.
The training offers
- Insights on strategic governance and sustainable leadership
- Practical exercises based on real-life challenges
- A network of women who want to make a difference
Arrangements
The training will take place in spring 2025 and consists of four modules:
- Governance: The conceptual and legal framework
- Role and responsibilities of the Board
- Cooperation: Board, organization and other stakeholders
- Follow-up: Evaluation of governance in the organization
The training is led by Dr. Daniel Yar, from Eductiv AB, an expert in corporate governance and sustainable leadership, with over 25 years of experience in training boards and management teams. Read more about Eductiv AB.

The course is free of charge. However, places are limited and in case of high demand, selection will be based on experience and membership.
